Always room for improvement!

I colored this Underthehoddybella a while ago…like maybe even last year…and finally decided it’s time for her to make an appearance on the blog. The image was colored with copic markers but now that I look at her a year later I decided she needed a bit more. So out came the pencils to add a bit of pink shading in the background. If you look closely you will see there is a hint of grey down the left sides. That was on there from a year ago, I just went right over it with my pencils and softened if off with a bit of gamsol! Perfect! Sadly, I don't think it is as vivid in the pic as it is in person.

The ribbon bow is held down with one of those Basic Grey brads which I LOVE!!!!!!!! And the jeweled flower on the hair dryer is a Heidi Swap jewel that I bought MAYBE 5 years ago. As a stroke of luck it fit perfect into the daisy! A little bit of glitter on her slippers and Ranger glossy accents on the vase and we’re done! No muss, no fuss! The paper is memory box and I’m really drawn to their nice subtle designs. Oh ya...have you seen those Prima Pebbles on Stamping Bella's site? I'm thinking I need those babies!

Thanks for stopping by…In a couple days I'll be in Vegas and will have my copics in hand. We'll see how well I do colorin' on a plane!

I had a request to list the copic colors that I used in the image. I'll try to do that for ya going forward but some of these may have been done earlier so I don't have them to list.
