When I saw this Flower Bottles stamp from Stamping Bella I immediately thought....MARTHA! They look so Martha to me...now you gotta know I'm talking Martha Stewart...all her beautiful pastel colors that coordinate impeccably with all her other pastel 'stuff'.
If I could decorate my surroundings without the influence of the hubs, I would most definitely live in a Martha-like house. Now don't misunderstand me, the hubs has really good taste, but it isn't Martha-like so as with any good marriage, we compromise and find the happy medium that pleases both our palates. But if our house was big enough for me to have a totally Martha inspired room...I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Okay, enough about me and my Martha obsession. I bought this piece of patterned paper at Scrapfest in Kitchener (sadly, I don't remember what line it was and I only bought one piece) and wanted my bottles to coordinate with it. Copics in blue, aqua, with some purple for some jazz was what I decided on for the bottles, with pink, yellow and orange for the flowers. Of course, to mimic real bottles, I doused them all with some Ranger Glossy accents...if it is glass, it gets glossy accents...that is my rule! I added just a bit of glitter to the flowers and a juicy bow to finish it off. A nice simple image with a bit of ribbon, glitter and gloss adds up to a simple card with a lot of interest!
Thanks for stopping by!
