Does this mean Winter is coming? AND a GIVEAWAY!

Our challenge this week has to do with snow...and we wanna know if there is snow at your house, or at the very least...incorporate some snow on your card. Personally the ONLY snow I hope to see this winter is on my cards. I'm getting older, and the older I get, the more I hate snow. I hate shovelling it and/or tromping thru salt melted mush that ruins my collection of designer boots! I don't care what they say about UGGS, I NEVER want mine to trudge thru salt melted slush because I prefer to keep them in a pristine state and wear them as a fashion statement.

BUT....uptown gal Quinn wears her UGGS is not only fashionable but does not appear to be afraid to stand in snow with them. She is braver than I am that's for sure!

I think this is my FAV uptown girl. Now I love them ALL, but this one really speaks to me and I think it is because of what she is wearing....I would dress like that. heck I do dress like that! Since my UGGS are dark brown, I had to colour hers dark brown too, and her coat had to match...because Quinn would not have it any other way. Now for the other colours....hmmmm.....what to wear with brown? In my opinion anything goes....for me, brown is like black, anything goes. So that is when I went to my paper stash and decided on green to go with this basic grey ambrosia paper. Good choice I thought...after all, I would wear that. In the end she turned out exactly as I had envisioned her. Classy, sassy, and sophisticated! I LOVE those uptown girls!

Next week our challenge is HOLIDAY WISHES. With the holiday season just around the corner THIS is the time to get those juices going and get busy on those holiday cards. I know you need them! I need them! You've GOT to do them, so pull out some of those bella stamps and knock one card off the list, plus play in the challenge for a chance to earn some xmas bucks.

FINALLY ...THE GIVEAWAY!  .....we are calling all creative minds! We know you are out there and we want you to join us! Do you have a great challenge idea? Do you like sketch challenges or do you have something in your head that you would like to see in a challenge next year. Leave me a comment with your idea and I will pick a random comment to be announced on my blog post next FRIDAY. The lucky person will win $25 in BELLA BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! As Reganabella would say...SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! We wanna hear from you!

hi Linda! this is just PERFECT ofcourse! I would like to see a challenge that calls for using one image in 3 different ways, or 3 diff cards. I think it would be great inspiration :) Happy Fall! jane w.

Love it! I love the shading and the colours! This stamp could be used for a Happy Birthday card as well which gives it double duty.

As for challenges. I like the sketches because when I make my own cards I just wing it and make them up as I go along so having to use a sketch is out of my comfort zone. It gives me a challenge for sure.

What a great card! I love the colour scheme and the shading is perfection, as always.
I love the challenges, even if I don't always get a chance to play along. I'd like to see one where the challenge is to use a stamp in an unexpected way.

The colors you chose are rediculous, that's redic in a good way ofcourse. I LOVE HER!! You really are an ispiration there Lindabella. As for a cheallenge? hmmm, maybe some odd colors that you normally would not put together but you do just to see if you think they would work??? It might turn out interesting?
Thanks as always for your posts!.

Your card rocks - as always!! You know I love your style - but really must comment more often!!

I love the idea of having more sketches, but also would love the challenge of "using the same stamp for 3 or four different challenges in a row", but make them for different occasions (for example, I have used Eunice and Irving for an anniversary card, for a Valentines Day card, and then for Christmas). It would be fun to see everyone stretch their imaginations, and also to get so many more ideas to use with all of the different stamps!!

Just LOVE those Uptown Girls... Your coloring is always INSPIRING! As for challenges... I like to see something with embellishments such as ribbon or bling or eyelets, brads etc.. I also like when you have to use a certain amount of different pattern papers or just a single layer card.

Its me again! a fun challenge would be NO GREEN or RED for a Christmas card!

Great card Linda.....Love this image. I love doing challenges...just find time is often of essence...Need to retire and do this full time.. that is what I would LOVE. Anyway colour challenges and layout challenges are always tops for me. Saves me time because most of the background work is already done for you.

Love, love, love how you colored her! The uptown girls are my favorite new collection and you've given this image such life! I'm super impressed.

As for the challenges suggestions, here's what I would like to see: make a card where any of the Bella character is a redhead! I like to give my girls red hair and always say that if I don't, who will? How cool would it be to see a page full of redheads during a challenge week! :D
