As promised a couple pics from our 'tour'...just look at that face!
So you know that last week hubs and I were on a little whirlwind trip to follow our fav Dave Matthews Band on tour. We started out in Charlotte NC and had a nice dinner and spent the next day shopping before the concert. Headed on to Nashville to see the concert the following night then drove to Memphis to soak in some Elvis and a little blues music. While in Memphis we went to Graceland, Stax Records, Sun Studio and the National Civil Right Museum which is at the location of Martin Luther King's assassination . All very interesting!
For me, no road trip is complete without hauling along my copics. I am so very grateful I bought that new bag for them because it made things a lot easier. Now Mark must have thought I was a little overly attached to those markers because I wasn't really using them but would drag them in and out of the car to every hotel we stayed at! I'm fairly certain he was gonna sign me up for therapy when we got back. That was until the long drive home. I pulled them out of the back seat and got colorin'...hey I had a challenge to do, and what could be more challenging than trying to color little Ivy Ketto in a moving vehicle! You have to have a steady hand and anticipate bumps but it is much more enjoyable than doing nothing. Thankfully we had the sketch all picked out for us, otherwise I may not have got her finished in time. Maybe I can color, but I am most definitely sketch challenged.
Next week...Vegas baby!
Now don't forget to hop on over to Stamping Bella because Emily is offering free shipping until May 4th to celebrate Ryan's birthday. The code is 'happyweek'. Who can resist free shipping? And if you haven't already left a comment on Fridays Bellarific post, better get going on that too for a chance at some Bella Bucks...did you notice she is now handing out 20 of those babies!
